How To Turn JavaScript On or Off: Mozilla

To enable or disable JavaScript in Mozilla, or to check it's status, simply follow these steps.....

1: Open Mozilla and click Edit from the main menu, then click the Preferences menu item.

2: The Preferences dialogue box should now be visible. In the menu on the left hand side, click Advanced, then from the drop down list click Scripts & Plug-ins. You should now see the heading Enable JavaScript for...

• To turn on (enable) JavaScript make sure the Navigator checkbox has a tick , if not then click inside the checkbox to enable. Also make sure all the checkboxes under the Allow scripts to heading are ticked .
• To turn off (disable) JavaScript make sure the Navigator checkbox is empty , if not then click inside the checkbox to disable.

3: When you have finished altering settings, click OK to apply changes and close the Preferences dialogue box.
