How To Turn JavaScript On or Off: Opera

To enable or disable JavaScript in Opera, or to check it's status, simply follow these steps.....

1: Open Opera and click Tools from the main menu, then click the Preferences menu item.

2: The Preferences dialogue box should now be visible. Click the Advanced tab, then from the left menu click Content. Look for the Enable JavaScript checkbox heading.

• To turn on (enable) JavaScript make sure the checkbox has a tick , if not then click inside the checkbox to enable.
• To turn off (disable) JavaScript make sure the checkbox is empty , if not then click inside the checkbox to disable.

3: When you have finished altering settings, click OK to apply changes and close the Preferences dialogue box.
