Change Your Browser Language Settings: Internet Explorer 7

To change your language preferences, or to add a language in Internet Explorer 7 (IE7), simply follow these steps.....

1: Open IE7 and click the Tools icon from the main menu.

2: From the menu that appears, click the Internet Options menu item.

3: The main Internet Options dialogue box should now be visible. Click the General tab, then from the Appearance section, click the Languages button.

4: The Language Preference dialogue box should now be visible showing your current language defaults.

• To add a language (as shown in the image below), click the Add... button and continue to step 5
• To make changes to your existing language preferences, or to remove a language, skip to step 6

5: The Add Language dialogue box should now be visible. Use the Scroll Bar to find your desired language, then Select it with your mouse and click OK.

6: Your chosen languages should now be visible in the Language Preference dialogue box.

• To make a language your first preference, Select it with your mouse, then click the Move Up button until it reaches the top position.
• To change the preference of another language, Select it with your mouse, then click the Move Up button or Move Down button to the desired position. The order is from top to bottom (top position is first preference).
• To remove a language, Select it with your mouse, then click the Remove button.

7: When you have finished altering the settings, click the OK button on the Language Preference dialogue box, then click OK to the Internet Options dialogue box. You have now changed your language preferences.
